Spacious and Gracious at 82 York Road

82 York Road is a substantial and handsome tile-hung house. It is set in a mature garden with old brick walls and York stone paving which allows plenty of privacy for sitting out in fine weather. At the back of the house there is a terrace with an awning that can be extended to provide shade in the summer. Inside the house is spacious and bright, with a large hall and elegant staircase. The lounge is furnished with easy chairs and has large sliding glass doors to the terrace. There is a lift to the first floor, for those who find stairs tiring. Upstairs on the first floor landing there is a 'computer corner' with a broadband connection for the use of residents.

For security the house is fitted with a modern video-phone entry system. The fire and smoke alarms are tested regularly, and each resident is provided with a Safe-call personal alarm pendant. Because 82 York Road is a large family house that has been converted, each bed-sitting room is different in size and individual features but all have en suite bathrooms.
